Meet lana

Lana Grindley is a freelance community artist based in Kendal in Cumbria, she founded Love Art Workshops in 2015. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Lana delivers creative workshops as a means of providing community cohesion, social engagement, and platform for people to develop their own creative practices. Lana's passion is creating opportunities for communities to come together and have access to the arts.  She works directly with Charities, Festivals, Events, Schools and Funding bodies and leads Love Art Workshops, creating bespoke and meaningful experiences for groups across the North West.

During lockdown Lana had the opportunity to explore her own practice and means of creating art. Transforming her inner passion into a reality, she has become an upcoming fibre artist, exploring themes such as female identity, sustainability, and empowering woman through her vibrant textiles.
